Sitter Connection

We have sitters that work throughout all of Clark County, WA including the following cities: Vancouver, Camas, Washougal, Battler Gound, Yacolt, Hockinson, Ridgefield, LaCenter, & Woodland. 

We have a one-time $99 Activation Fee to get set up in the online portal, create a profile, and be ready to request care - plus a $20 Membership Monthly Fee. You will also be billed for sitter services at $25 per hour.

All of our sitters at CCN undergo a background check and thorough reference check, in person interviews, social media screen, and legal work authorization. They are also required to submit a current CPR/First-Aid certification as well as a valid driver's license and insurance if they will be transporting children. We only hire sitters that we would personally trust with our own children. 

In order to have a few sitters to pick from, we recommend booking as soon as you know you have a childcare need, but at least 24 hours in advance.  Last minute requests will incur an extra $20 Short Notice Fee for any shift requested less than 24 hours in advance. This goes directly to the sitter to encourage filling the shift. 

We completely understand that changes happen, but we ask for as much notice as possible. We have a $25 cancellation fee for any cancellation less than 24 hours before the beginning of the scheduled shift. If you need to cancel a shift that has already been booked, you are required to call our office to have the shift removed. 

Monthly memberships can be cancelled at any time with no extra fees or penalties. Your profile and account will remain active until the end of the paid month. However, if you decide to rejoin Sitter Connection, the $99 activation fee will be re-applied. 

This will greatly depend on the specific sitter's schedule; however, you are able to view all of your previously booked sitters and mark your "favorites". These sitters will be the first to be notified of a new booking with your family. 

We require our sitters to be a minimum of 16 years old, however the majority of our team is over 18, including all ages of sitters up to retirement. We love to hire sitters of all ages!

Once you are completely enrolled, you can book sitters directly from your profile page. After you submit a request, all sitters with availability for the same day & time will be notified and able to mark their interest. You will then receive a link to the bios of everyone available/interested and directly book your choice of sitter. 

At the end of every shift, you will be asked to verify the sitters' hours, and then your card will be billed. We collect your payment and pay our sitters through a payroll service. Contact us for current sitter rates. 

Sign-ups will begin on September 15th. We are currently assembling our team of sitters and preparing our portal, but we would love to add you to our email list. We will send out an enrollment link and any more information as soon as we launch!
